Windows Defender To Remove Coercive 'Cleaner' Programs

Microsoft announced that its Windows Defender antivirus will begin removing "cleaner" and "optimizer" programs that use coercive messaging to trick users into paying for "fixing" trivial or non-existent PC issues starting this March.
