Memcached Amplification Attack Breaks New DDoS Record At 1.7 Tb/s

Arbor Networks, a DDoS protection firm, recorded a new record-breaking 1.7 Tb/s DDoS attack, surpassing last week's 1.3 Tb/s attack. The new attack also exploited the recently discovered memcached server vulnerability.
